About Us

Elektro Štumpfl d.o.o. has been successfully implementing projects in the fields of electrical installations, vessel electrification, and the assembly of LV distributors for the last 50 years. During this period, we have developed from a supplementary business into a modern international company with a strong team of professional associates.

We are distinguished by the high quality and wide range of our products, which help us to successfully carry out comprehensive projects. Our qualities also include a quick response time, adaptability to customer requirements, innovativeness, and international experience.

We are a reliable and trusted business partner of Schrack Technik, Victron Energy, and Fischer Panda.

1969

Albert Štumpfl Sr starts to repair electric motors and other electrical devices as his supplementary trade alongside his regular job at EVU.

1977

A move to new premises in the centre of Slovenj Gradec results in a business boom. The main activities are: production of electrical installations and distributors, servicing of oil burners, chest freezers, manual electrical tools, and small household appliances. The number of employees grows to 18.

1983

After successfully completing his university studies, son Tomo is also employed by the company. The business expands to the field of mechanical engineering and the control of electrical devices.

1989

Installation of the first microcomputer in the metal-cutting machine and the first digital equipment for controlling machines. Establishment of one of the first limited liability companies in the region (d.o.o.).

1991

Establishment of one of the first mixed-capital entities SCHRACK ENERGIETECHNIK d.o.o. (51:49%)

2001

The beginnings of new business activities in the nautical sector. Production of cable harnesses for sailing boats.

2002

The sudden death of Albert Štumpfl Sr. The management of the company is taken over by daughter-in-law Petra Štumpfl, while technical affairs are taken over by son Tomo Štumpfl dipl. inž. as an external collaborator.

2003

Reorganisation of the company with a clear strategy in the following fields: assembly of distributors, electrical installations, and production of electrical equipment for vessels.

2008

A move to new, modern premises in the Pameče industrial zone near Slovenj Gradec. The investment is successfully completed with the help of the Public Fund of the Republic of Slovenia for Regional Development and Development of Rural Areas.

2009

We achieve remarkable success in the field of vessel electrification. We equip vessel manufacturers: Elan Marine, Pičuljan Marine, Sas Vektor, Salona Boats, Seaway, Mondial 54, Art of Kinetik, Beograd, Elan motorni brodovi.

2010

Our Y connector receives the gold award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia for innovators in the Koroška region.

2011

A sad year due to the loss of our visionary Tomo Štumpfl. Despite the loss, the company continues its mission and work. This is a commitment it makes to its founders and workers.

2013

We rejuvenate the team, training two mentors to pass on knowledge to younger workers and students. We continue to invest in equipment upgrades. Every year we prepare an exhibit for the Marine Equipment Trade Show in Amsterdam.

2019

The company celebrates 50 years of its existence and successful operation. We become involved in the “active companies” project, which aims to promote health and physical activity.

2022

At Elektro Štumpfl we reached new business milestones: we have digitized the production and administration process as well as achieved the highest yearly turnover with the highest number of employees to date.
